Aboud Al-Ali

Associate

Aboud Al-Ali joined GMS Capital Partners LLC in October 2019. His responsibilities include evaluating, advising on and executing private equity investment opportunities as well as providing support in transactions in connection with GMS Holdings’ portfolio globally. Aboud is also responsible for overseeing the firm’s venture capital investment initiative.

Prior to joining GMS Capital Partners, Aboud was an associate at S&P Global’s Market Intelligence Division. At S&P, Aboud supported clients with constructing financial models and assisted their research into various covered industries, with a focus on Bank Regulatory, Insurance and Real Estate data points. Aboud also served as a rotational analyst and innovation officer at Jordan Ahli Bank (JAB). During his years as an undergraduate student, Aboud completed internships with First Abu Dhabi Bank (Risk Management), Deloitte and Citibank (Treasury).

Aboud is Head of Business Development at TennisPro Jordan, a boutique tennis center in Amman. Aboud is in charge of identifying strategic avenues for growth, while also managing their social media presence and the implementation of a customized fully fledged ERP system.

Aboud holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from the George Washington University and has passed the first level of the CFA exam.
